I am currently serving in my first year as Program Chair on the Elected Board. I have previously served as the Secretary and as a Co-Chair for the CAP Conference Committee.
Your favorite thing about NCA:
NCA is an organization I am so grateful that I joined. Personally, I feel the professional development has made me a better admissions counselor, as I have been able to develop and strengthen relationships with my colleagues on both sides of the desk. My favorite thing about the organization is being involved with people who are so passionate about their work with the students, families, and counselors in Nassau County.
Where is your hometown? : Wantagh, New York
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?: I would love to be a Stage Manager for a Broadway show!
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?:
Reading, traveling, baking, going to Mets games, seeing Broadway shows
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why? :
That’s too hard to choose! I’ve been lucky enough to visit Australia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Belize and Mexico, to name a few places. Each country was beautiful!
